Besra Gold Inc (ASX: BEZ) announces Mr Andrew Worland has advised the Company of his resignation from the Besra board of directors effective immediately.

Mr Worland was invited to the Besra board in August 2020 at the request of its secured creditors to assist the recapitalisation of the Company and listing on ASX.

Mr Worland commented: “My increasing business commitments and Quantum Metal Recovery Inc’s investments in Besra make it an appropriate time for shareholders to consider the most appropriate board structure for the Company. I thank Besra shareholders for the opportunity to serve on the board of directors for the past two years and wish CEO Ray Shaw and his team the best.”

Resolution 1 to be tabled at the forthcoming Annual General and Special Meeting has been withdrawn.
