Rod Murfit – Exploration ConsultantRod has over 35 years mineral exploration and mining experience in Southeast Asia. Rod holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology) from University of Auckland, New Zealand and is a MAusIMM. With a long involvement in Besra, Rod was initially responsible for leading the exploration teams that brought Besra’s Bong Mieu and Phuoc Son properties in Vietnam from discovery through exploration and up to production.Dr Ray Shaw - Executive Director and CEODr Shaw has over 40 years’ experience in the natural resources sector, including over 20 years in executive and non-executive director roles with ASX-listed companies. His experience spans from micro-cap entities to serving as Managing Director of an ASX 300 company. Originally trained as a geophysicist, Dr Shaw holds a BSc (Hons I) and PhD from the University of Sydney and is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He is also a qualified legal practitioner in New South Wales (non-practising). Former Managing Director of Bandanna Energy Ltd and director of the $2.5 billion Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal in Gladstone during the initial construction phases.Dr Shaw is currently a Non-Executive Chairman of Redcastle Resources Limited (ASX: RC1). He is a Legal Practitioner in NSW and a member of AusIMM. Kevin Wright - Project ManagerBased in Malaysia, Kevin has been involved with the Besra project for over 4 years. Kevin brings a wealth of experience with over 43 years involvement in mining operations as well as managing fully integrated mines, R&D programs and pilot test work, process plant design, construction, and infrastructure development. International experience includes Central and South America, the Caribbean, Asia, Russia and the former Soviet Union as well as Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and North America. Kevin is a Competent Person who is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, a Chartered Engineer, and a Chartered Environmentalist. Dr Erik de Vuyst - Metallurgical & Processing ConsultantErik holds a degree in mining engineering from Ecole Polytechnique of Brussels and a Masters and PhD in hydrometallurgy from the University of British Columbia. Co-inventor of the Inco SO2-Air cyanide detox process, he headed the Inco Tech group, which licensed the technology to over 80 gold mines worldwide. He has been affiliated with Besra since 2008 and has been instrumental in processing engineering and metallurgical studies for Besra in both Vietnam and Malaysia.
